Every caller hears back in 60 seconds. Even when you're under a house.
I set it all up for you in 7 business days, in the phone, inbox and job app you already use. You don't learn a new app. Missed-call text-back, auto-replies, quote follow-ups and review requests, done for you.
"60 seconds" is the goal I set the text-back to hit, not a promise about your phone network.
Example of a missed-call text-back. Business name is made up.
All the risk is on me, not you.
Live in 7 business days
From our kickoff call to switched on. I do the setup, you approve the messages.
Catches one, or your money back
If it hasn't caught or chased at least one enquiry you'd otherwise have missed in the first 30 days, I refund your setup fee.
You own it. No lock-in.
Everything's built in your accounts. Care is optional, month to month. Walk away any time and it keeps working.
The phone rings at the worst possible time. Every time.
You can't answer up a ladder, under a house or with a grinder in your hand. But the customer doesn't know that. They just ring the next number on Google.
Missed calls on the tools
By the time you knock off and ring back, they've already booked someone else. That job's gone and you never knew what it was worth.
After-hours enquiries
A website form at 8pm or a Facebook message on Sunday. No reply till Monday arvo, and the customer's moved on.
Quotes going cold
You sent the quote, then got flat out. No follow-up, no answer, no job. Half the time they just needed a nudge.
Why not just grab a cheap AI receptionist app?
You can, and for some tradies that's the right call. Here's the honest difference.
A DIY app
Cheap or free to start. Good if you like tinkering.
- Another login and another app to learn
- You set it up, write the messages and test it, usually after hours
- Another monthly bill on top of what you already pay
- Some only cover the phone, so quote follow-ups and reviews can still be on you
Done for you
One fixed setup fee. I do the fiddly bit.
- Wired into the phone, inbox and job app you already use
- Missed-call text-back, auto-replies, quote follow-ups and review requests working together
- Messages written in your voice, and you approve every one
- Live in 7 business days, with a money-back guarantee
- You own it. No lock-in. Care is optional.
Some setups need a phone tool for the text-back. If yours does, I'll tell you the running cost in writing before you pay anything. If an app on its own would do the job for you, I'll tell you that on the call too.
Sorted in 3 steps. You don't learn a thing.
About an hour and a half of your time, all up. I do the rest remotely, in your accounts.
Free 15-min chat
We work out where jobs are slipping through: missed calls, after-hours, or quotes. No hard sell. If it's not worth it for you, I'll say so.
I set it up, you sign off
A 45-min kickoff call, then I build it in the tools you already use, like ServiceM8, Tradify, Gmail or your phone. You approve every message before it goes live.
Live in 7 business days
A 30-min handover call, a short walkthrough video and a one-page cheat sheet. Plus a check-in after 14 days to make sure it's all firing.
The Never Miss a Job Setup
Three problems fixed, using the gear you're already paying for. No new app to learn, and you own every account.
Catch every enquiry
- Missed-call text-back on your existing number
- Instant replies to website, email and Google messages
- After-hours message, plus a rule for real emergencies
Win more quotes
- Quote follow-ups on day 2, 5 and 10 in your job app
- Quote and email templates that sound like you
- Friendly unpaid-invoice reminders
Less admin at night
- Booking confirmations and "on my way" texts
- Google review requests after the job
- 10 saved replies for the questions you get every day
It won't go rogue on your customers.
Every setup follows the same three rules. No made-up prices, no promises you didn't make.
You sign the answer sheet
A one-page sheet of your real hours, service area, prices and policies. The assistant only answers from that sheet, nothing else.
Tricky stuff comes to you
Anything not on the sheet, plus complaints, refunds or safety issues, gets flagged "escalate to staff" with a one-line summary. It doesn't guess.
Starts in draft mode
For the first week or two it drafts replies and you hit send. Auto-replies only switch on for simple stuff you've OK'd, and they say they're automated.
One fixed price. You own it. No lock-in.
Pay once for the setup. No ongoing fees from me unless you want Care. Prices in AUD, no GST added (not registered). Your existing software stays billed by the provider, direct to you.

The Never Miss a Job guarantee
Live in 7 business days. And if in the first 30 days it hasn't caught or chased at least one enquiry you'd otherwise have missed, I'll refund your setup fee.
What are missed calls actually costing you?
Plug in your own numbers and get a rough figure per month and per year. Takes 30 seconds, no email needed.
Example only, not real client data
3 missed calls a week × 1 in 3 would have booked × $400 average job
≈ $1,730 a month · ≈ $20,800 a year
That's an estimate. Your numbers will be different, so try your own.
Who's behind itG'day, I'm PJ.
I'm a bloke who works underground driving trucks and loaders, with a passion for AI. I build simple systems for people who are flat out, not fancy ones that need a manual thicker than a dictionary.
I test AI tools so you don't have to, and post plain-English verdicts on X as @ThatAIBloke. No hype, no jargon, no locking you into my accounts. If AI isn't the right fix for your business, I'll tell you straight.

Fair questions
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use email and a phone, you're right. I set it up and show you in a short video.
Is it really all online?
Yes. A 15-minute chat to start, a 45-minute kickoff, the build happens remotely, and a 30-minute handover. No site visits, wherever you are in Australia.
Do I have to change my phone number or software?
No. It's set up on your existing number and in the tools you already use, like ServiceM8, Tradify, Fergus, Gmail or Xero. If you need a phone tool for the text-back, I'll tell you the cost upfront.
Will AI send stuff to customers without me knowing?
Not unless you want it to. It starts in draft mode, only answers from the answer sheet you sign, and flags anything tricky to you. Automatic replies only switch on for simple questions you've approved, and they say they're automated.
How does the guarantee work?
It's live within 7 business days. If in the first 30 days it hasn't caught or chased at least one enquiry you'd otherwise have missed, I refund your setup fee.
How is this different from a cheap AI receptionist app?
An app gives you the tool and leaves the setup to you. I do the setup in what you already use, write the messages with you, connect quote follow-ups and review requests too, and back it with the 30-day guarantee. If an app alone would suit you better, I'll say so.
Am I locked in to anything?
No. It's built in accounts you own, there's no contract, and Care is month to month. If you stop Care, everything keeps working.
What does it cost to run afterwards?
Any software you already pay for stays the same. If something new is needed, I'll tell you the running cost in writing before you pay anything. Care is optional at $149/month.
What happens to my customers' information?
Your data stays in accounts you own. I only access what the job needs, and you can remove my access when it's done. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can you guarantee it'll save me X hours?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. I'll tell you honestly on the call whether it's worth doing for your business.
Tell me about your business
Fill this in and I'll get back to you with a link to book your free 15-minute chat. I read every one myself. Or skip it and book straight in.
Let's stop the next job going to the next bloke.
Done for you in 7 business days. Setup fee back if it catches nothing in 30 days. Founding price of $990 for the first 5 tradies.
