Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026. This is a plain-English starter policy, not legal advice. Have it checked before relying on it.

That AI Bloke is run by PJ Adami, Gold Coast, Queensland. We respect your privacy and aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in a form or book a call: your name, email, business name, trade, business size, the tools you use, what you tell us about your admin, and booking details. If you become a client, billing details are handled by our payment provider (we don't store card numbers). Our website host may log basic technical data such as IP address and browser type.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and book a call
  • To quote, deliver and support the work you pay for
  • To send the free PDF and tips emails if you asked for them
  • To keep records we're legally required to keep, like invoices

Email marketing

We only email you tips if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, in line with the Spam Act 2003.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the business, which may store data overseas (for example in the United States or EU): website hosting and forms (Netlify), booking (Cal.com), email newsletters (beehiiv), payments (Stripe) and email (Google Workspace). We don't sell your information.

AI tools

We use AI tools to help draft emails, proposals and content. We avoid putting personal or sensitive information into public AI chatbots, and use business accounts with sensible settings where client data is involved. When we set up AI tools for your business, they run in accounts you own, and we explain what data they use. If we use automated tools to make decisions that significantly affect you, we'll tell you.

Client data we access during a job

If you give us access to your systems, we only use your data to do the work, keep access to what's needed, and you can remove our access when the job is done.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers with security controls, two-factor authentication on our accounts, and delete information we no longer need.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a complaint, by emailing pj@thataibloke.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
